Best hike in Slovenia
The picturesque and well-maintained route allows you to visit Seča with the Sečovel salt pans, Forma Viva with its outdoor sculptures, Portorož, Piran and Strunjan with its natural park. The path leads between vineyards and olive groves and through the Valeta tunnel (Parenzana).
The route is a bit longer, requiring stops at local restaurants. It takes a whole day.

A fashionable flower city Portoroz and nearby salt-pans will show you a difference between urban environment and unspoiled nature.
Pass by Forma Viva – an open-air sculpture gallery or museum set in a park, displaying contemporary sculpture from around the world.
You pass through a Parenzana tunnel to come in Strunjan’s beautiful park and Fiesa with its coast and lake. Near lies a wonder of nature- the high Cliffs.
Parking (Option 1 – Seča)
You can park your car about 100m in front of the Ribič restaurant. There is a small paid car park, but it is usually full in July and August. You may not park in the parking lot reserved for guests of the Ribič restaurant.
