Slovenia water sports – Nemo Divers Diving spots

The coast of Slovenia offers many opportunities to explore the underwater world, which is very diverse and rich. Among the most popular diving spots are Piran Punta, Fiesa, Pacug and the wreck of the Italian steamer Maona Rossa. Each of the diving spots has its own unique charm, which attracts visitors and enthusiastic divers from all over the world.

Slovenia water sports- diving at Fiesa

The reef in Fiesa is the most popular among Slovenian divers because of its interesting and easy dive and easy access to the sea. The reef starts at a depth of 4 meters, about 100 meters from the shore.
It is best if the dive starts at the Fiesa Hotel on the reef, continues to the right side along the reef past the “rollers” and cubes, after which a turn is made at about 100 bars and the return begins. A large pipe that ends just below the ridge warns us that we are at the starting location.
At this location, in addition to day dives, night dives are recommended, as they show a lot of life (seahorses, octopuses, cuttlefish, squid…). There are 10 small wrecks on display, as well as a motorcycle and even a car.

Piran Punta

Piran Punta is one of the most popular diving spots on the Slovenian coast of the Adriatic Sea. With a beautiful reef and abundant underwater life, it is an ideal place for any diver looking for spectacular underwater views.
The Piran Punta diving site is located close to the land, so access from the shore is very easy and suitable for beginners and those who do not have much diving experience. The reef reaches a depth of up to 25 meters, so it is interesting even for experienced divers. Divers will be able to admire the rich underwater flora and fauna typical of the Adriatic Sea.
During the dive, you will encounter various fish such as groupers, mullets, sea bream and many others. Encounters with octopus, crustacean and snail species are not uncommon.
